We have listed the Terms and Conditions of purchase in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) listed below. If you have any questions that are not answered on this page, we ask that you email customerservice@lero.co with your name, email and question so that we can respond in a timely manner. We appreciate your business and your feedback is important to us.

How long does it take to hand-craft a piece of jewelry?

All jewelry pieces are made by hand with a technique known as hand-forging. Each piece is carefully hammered to give the metal strength. The hand-forging also adds the bevel to the metal which gives each piece a unique reflective shine. It can take about 24 to 48 hours to hand-craft a piece of jewelry. All jewelry is made-to-order, therefore, we do not have pieces in inventory. Because it can take as long as 2 to 3 business days before we can ship an item, we ask that you contact us if you have a need for a “rush” delivery. Most orders will ship within 2 to 3 days, and depending on your choice of shipping, you may receive your order within 5 to 10 business days, but we can guarantee any specific date.

When can I expect to receive my order?

When an order is received, we will process it within 24 hours of receipt during a business day. The hand-crafting process will take an additional 2 to 3 days. We package and ship your hand-crafted jewelry immediately after 2 to 3 days of hand-crafting it. We ship all orders during business days. Depending on the method of shipment, you may receive your hand-made jewelry from 5 to 10 business days after we received your order. During seasons of high volume, we ask that you contact us if you need to receive your order on a particular date so that we can expedite or rush the order. We will do our best to hand-craft your jewelry and deliver it to you, although we cannot guarantee any specific delivery date due to volume and the nature of hand-crafting made-to-order jewelry.

Do you have a merchandise return policy?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. Our earring hooks are all hand-made with a thicker and heavier gauge than most earrings so that your earrings can stand the test of time. If for any reason you are not comfortable with the fit of your jewelry, please contact us. Our Jewelry Designer is willing to customize your piece so that you feel comfortable wearing it. The nature of hand-crafted jewelry means that it will be a unique piece, therefore, any imperfections are part of its beauty. If you would like to exchange a piece, we will gladly make you a new one. We ask that you pay for the insured shipping to return any pieces to our design studio, whether it is for customization or for exchange. If you choose to return a hand-crafted jewelry piece, we ask that you contact Customer Service with the reason for return and that you pay for insured shipping to our design studio. Upon receipt of the item, our Jewelry Designer will inspect it and if the item is in new condition, we will contact you to confirm a full refund. Any refunds will be reimbursed in the same currency and in the same method of payment that was originally received for your payment transaction.

Can I exchange an item?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. If for any reason you are not comfortable with the fit of your jewelry, please contact us. Our Jewelry Designer is willing to customize your piece so that you feel comfortable wearing it. The nature of hand-crafted jewelry means that it will be a unique piece, therefore, any imperfections are part of its beauty. If you would like to exchange a piece, we will gladly make you a new one. We ask that you pay for the insured shipping to return any pieces to our design studio, whether it is for customization or for exchange. Upon receipt of the item, our Jewelry Designer will inspect it and if the item is in new condition, we will contact you to confirm an exchange. We will charge for the insured shipping of the new item that will replace the exchanged item.

What is the quality of your earring hooks?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. Our earring hooks are all hand-made with a thicker and heavier gauge than most earrings so that your earrings can stand the test of time. There is a difference in the feel of a high-quality earring hook that is made of a thicker and heavier gauge. A high-quality hook will result in greater durability for the longevity of a classic hand-crafted jewelry piece. If for any reason you are not comfortable with the fit of your jewelry, please contact us. Our Jewelry Designer is willing to customize your piece so that you feel comfortable wearing it.

If I lose one earring, can you make a replacement to match the earring I lost?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. If you own a classic pair of LERO.CO hand-crafted earrings and you lose one earring, we can make a replacement earring to match the one that was lost. The beauty of hand-crafting is that we can do our best to match the earring you need to replace. We ask that you send us the one earring that you have via insured mail so that our Jewelry Designer can inspect it for a design match. If a match is possible, we will contact you to confirm that we can match the earring and to give you a quote on the cost. Upon agreement and receipt of full payment, we will hand-craft the piece. We ask that you pay for insured shipping of the new matching piece to be shipped to you.

If I damage my jewelry piece, can you repair it?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. If you own a classic LERO.CO hand-crafted jewelry piece and you damage it, we can inspect it for a repair. The beauty of hand-crafting is that we can do our best to repair your LERO.CO jewelry piece. We ask that you send us the entire piece of jewelry via insured mail so that our Jewelry Designer can inspect it for a repair. If repair is possible, we will contact you to confirm that we can repair the piece and to give you a quote on the cost. Upon agreement and receipt of full payment, we will repair the piece. We ask that you pay for insured shipping of the repaired piece to be shipped to you.

Can you design and hand-craft jewelry for me, for my event, for my bridal party, or for my boutique?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. If you would like to create a special piece for yourself, your event, your bridal party, or your boutique, our Jewelry Designer will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. A design that is personally made for you can be made in quantity for an event, a bridal party, or your boutique. Feel free to contact us to speak to our Jewelry Designer who is willing to customize your jewelry piece. Based on your request, we can give you a quote and a timeline for the step-by-step process of the design, the hand-crafting, and delivery of your personalized order.

How do I care for my Argentum Silver piece?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. We can use gold, Sterling Silver or Argentum Silver to hand-craft pieces. We prefer to work with Argentum Silver in all of our silver pieces. Argentum Silver is an ethically sourced, sustainable 935/1000 silver that is hypoallergenic, nickel free, highly reflective, durable, brighter, and less tarnishable than traditional Sterling Silver. We recommend that you care for your Argentum Silver piece by using a jewelry cleaning cloth that is dedicated specifically to clean your Argentum Silver. We suggest that you wipe your jewelry piece clean as necessary to maintain it for generations to come.

What method of shipping can I expect for my order to be shipped?

We will ship via US Postal Mail. All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique, therefore, we do insure all of our shipments based on the value of the current price of the piece (s) in the shipment. The shipment may be sent First Class, 2-Day Priority Mail, or Express Mail depending on the shipment method selected at check out. If a method of shipping is not selected or specified at check-out, the shipment will be sent via US Postal Mail insured First Class standard delivery. If a special promotion of Free 2-Day shipping is being offered by LERO.CO, the offer is only available to shipments sent within the Continental United States and Puerto Rico via US Postal Service insured Priority 2-Day Mail. We can only ship to addresses where the U.S. Postal Service is able to deliver, including PO Boxes or AFO or APO addresses. If you are out of the United States, we can make arrangements for international shipping via FedEx, UPS, or DHL and you will be required to pay for the shipping charges. If you are not in an area were you can receive U.S. Postal mail, we can make arrangements for another method of delivery such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL and you will be required to pay for the shipping charges. If arrangements are made via any other shipping service that is not the US Postal Service, we will ask that any shipping fees incurred be paid by you.

Does the fluctuating cost of silver and gold affect the pricing of hand-made jewelry?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique. We only make jewelry when it is ordered, therefore, we buy precious metals in small quantities which means that our jewelry prices may fluctuate due to the price we pay for the silver or the gold. We require full payment prior to the hand-crafting of any pieces. You can pay for your merchandise through the shopping cart link to PayPal. You may use any credit cards accepted by PayPal or you may pay with your PayPal account. All payments will be processed in U.S. Dollars.

What forms of payment do you accept? Do you have a secure payment gateway?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order, so each piece is hand-crafted and unique, therefore, we require full payment prior to the hand-crafting of any pieces. You can pay for your merchandise through the shopping cart link to PayPal. You may use any credit card accepted by PayPal or you may pay with your PayPal account. PayPal has their own encryption for your security. We do not process any credit cards or other types of payment directly. All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars. Payment for merchandise is to be paid in U.S. Dollars.

How will my email and contact information be used?

If you would like to buy merchandise through the online shopping cart, you must complete the customer information form that includes your name, billing and/or shipping address, and phone number. If you would like a customer account, you must create a user ID and password. We only use your contact information to send you communications about the merchandise you ordered and/or to ship your merchandise. From time to time, we will send you an email with special promotions.  You can opt-out of special promotions at any time by requesting it in writing via email to customerservice@lero.co. If you subscribe to our newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time. We do not share your contact information.
